Forever Hounds Trust has been rescuing, caring for and homing greyhounds, lurchers and other sighthounds for 25 years. Until recently we have provided facilities in rented kennels and experienced foster homes in four regions across England, to rescue and care for unwanted, abused, neglected, or abandoned sighthounds. 

At the end of 2020 we purchased our first centre close to Cullompton in Devon where we are continuing our rescue and homing work in our own premises whilst being able to offer some of our dogs the extended assessment and care they need. 

We have two and exciting opportunities available for people to make a real difference to the lives of the greyhounds, lurchers and other sighthounds rescued by Forever Hounds Trust each year. 

Animal Care Assistant Live-in 40 hours per week, salary £19,500 per annum 

Animal Care Assistant 16 hours per week at weekends, salary £7,800 per annum 

Practical experience working with animals, a keen interest in animal welfare and excellent customer care skills are essential. Candidates will also need a full driving licence.
