Forever Hounds Trust volunteer, David Podmore, of Hereford, entered the Mountain Warehouse Charity Challenge 2016 after completing the Long Distance Walkers Association event, the ‘Dorset 100’, back in May this year.
“The walk is a non-stop 100 mile challenge” explained David. “Entrants are only permitted to stop for short refreshment breaks at official checkpoints along the route, no resting and certainly no sleeping!”
David completed the challenge in around 43 and a half hours and raised over £1,000 for Forever Hounds Trust, but now has the opportunity to scoop a further £10,000 for the charity. “I really need everyone’s help now” added David, “I need people to vote for me online via the Mountain Warehouse website”. Voting opens today and closes on September 25th.
