Handsome lurcher Levi is just 11 months old, and has come to us through no fault of his own. He has lived in a home since he was a puppy.

He has had a great start in life living with other dogs and children, as well as being socialised with unfamiliar people, dogs and the world in general. He is an energetic young dog that has lots of potential, but requires ongoing training like all adolescent dogs do. He has already been trained to recall to a whistle and is currently allowed off lead on walks in familiar locations, but further recall training is strongly advised in new locations.

Due to his large size and bouncy behaviour, we are looking for a home that is confident with large dogs and has space for him to stretch out. He is eager to greet everyone and everything, and this often leads to him jumping up – when he is highly aroused he may mouth. He can live with children aged 12 or higher, but any resident or visiting children must be confident with large, enthusiastic dogs.

He has lived with a cat previously, so we may consider a home that has an existing dog savvy cat.

Levi has always lived with other dogs so we feel it would benefit him to be homed where there is an existing playful adult dog. However, he could potentially live as an only dog, if there is someone home most of the time to give him the stimulation and company he needs.
