Custard is a Saluki X and is around 3+ years old and is completely adorable both inside and out.

Behind that mischievous face is a lively and extremely intelligent young man who is a little insecure and is working hard to learn to be calm and more confident around people and other dogs. He will need an understanding and committed home to help him reach his full potential.

Due to his insecurities and exuberant nature, Custard can be reactive around both dogs and people when out walking. He really enjoys his walks, but would need to be walked in a quieter areas to make it easier for his new people to manage him and continue to improve his behaviour– therefore a rural or semi rural home would suit him down to the ground. With dogs he has been carefully introduced to, he is social and playful, but would need to live as an only dog.

Custard adores his people and loves to be near them. He’s very affectionate, and will happily curl up with you for the day, until the next zoomie opportunity arises! Once you’re in his friendship circle, rest assured you will have a friend for life.

Custard is seeking a very special home – the apple pie to his Custard! He is currently working with our behaviour team to help him overcome his troubles, and will come with a full training plan, and life time back up for any behaviour advice needed. Therefore, he is looking for someone who will have time, a lot of love and patience to help him blossom into the best he can be. If you’re able to take on a project dog who is always up for a noisy game of tug or sofa snuggle then Custard is your boy! This will involve a lot of work, but the rewards for doing so is a truly wonderful dog who will absolutely adore you in return!

The below video shows Custard having his physio!
